At
Blue Knight Home Inspections the customer is the number one
priority.
An
inspection is observing the condition of the outside of the
property, including foundations, decks, porches, roof, garage,
and windows, as well as interior walls, ceilings, floors,
appliances, electrical, heating and air conditioning.
This checklist is the opinion of the inspector that does the
home inspection. If the inspector finds something of
concern, he might advise the buyer/seller to obtain the services
of a professional to assess the potential problem.
After
the inspection of the property, you will receive a copy of
the report within 24 hours. If you would like a copy of the
inspection to go to someone else, you must sign a release
to that party. There will be a charge to that party
for the inspection as well. While every effort will
be made to make an appointment that is convenient for you,
inspections must be made during daylight hours. It would
be a good idea for the buyer/realtor to be on hand during
the inspection.
While
we may enjoy your pets, we ask that they be confined during
the home inspection. A stranger is invading your pet's
territory, and a pet's behavior may be unpredictable.
Also, the inspector will not be able to do a home inspection
if a minor is there by him/herself.
As
professionals we understand that your privacy is very important
to you. We will retain records relating to professional
services that have been provided to you for a reasonable time
so that we are better able to assist you with future needs.
In order to protect your non-public personal information from
unauthorized access by third parties, we will not share this
infomation.
Currently
the state of Minnesota does not require a license for Home
Inspectors. (October 2004)
For
your best value, hire an independent home inspector.
